Overview

Candidate must be a self-starter, requiring minimal supervision and possess strong telephone and data entry experience. Working with and handling customer orders, questions & concerns. Initiates communication with customers for follow up when necessary. Provides support for the sales team and our numerous vendor representatives. Must be able to take projects or tasks to completion.

The desired applicant must be flexible with changing priorities and will have the ability to shift from task to task quickly due to our quick order processing times.

You will work directly with the rest of the customer care team in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule - Full-time, Permanent

Shift - Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm

Responsibilities

· Respond promptly and efficiently to inquiries from customers and other parties

· Resolve/handle customer complaints

· Assist customers in their order status/delivery expectations

· Manual data entry of incoming orders (via email/telephone)

· Importing order data sent from customers via email

· Assist customers with shipping discrepancies

· Assist Pan sales teams with order/customer inquiries

· Assist vendor reps with order/customer inquiries

· Handle tasks resulting from phone calls and emails

· Additional project work as required

Qualifications

· Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills

· Clear & Effective verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent customer service skills when interacting with both internal and external clients

· Enthusiastic, professional and team focused individual

· Strong telephone etiquette

· Highly organized and able to multitask and manage changing priorities in a quick fast paced environment

· Excellent problem-solving skills

· Analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Able to work both independently and as part of a close team

· Motivated self starter and able to take direction from others

· Fluent in English

Education/Experience

· High school diploma/GED or higher

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) applications

· Experience working within a shared Outlook mailbox

· Strong data entry skills and able to type 60+ WPM

· Experience in the pet retail industry is not required, but would be considered an asset

Salary: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
